About Us

Our
Story
We are Medha Bhaskar and Deepthi Rao, practitioner-scholars of yoga with over twelve years of experience each, working at the intersection of inner development, education, and systems change. We hold a Master of Science in Yoga from Swami Vivekananda Yoga Anusandhana Samsthana
(S-VYASA), India.
Medha co-founded Amrutha Bindu Yoga, a Bangalore-based yoga school, in 2015. She has worked with over 3,000 students and has led the design of teacher training curricula that reimagine classical yoga pedagogy for contemporary contexts. Her work integrates philosophy, movement science, and community-building, extending yoga beyond postural practice into inquiry, ethical action, and behavioural alignment. She also edits a monthly newsletter exploring yoga philosophy and its relevance to modern civic and ecological life.
Deepthi’s work bridges consciousness-based practice and environmental systems. After a decade in yoga education and research, she pursued a Master of Science in Environmental Studies at the University of Pennsylvania (2023), focusing on environmental justice, regenerative agriculture, and responsible business practices. She now works in sustainability research and advisory, supporting climate policy, biodiversity conservation, ethical sourcing, and regenerative strategy development. Her approach advances climate solutions that are ecologically grounded, socially equitable, and informed by inner awareness.
Together, our work explores how disciplined inner practice can inform resilient, regenerative systems as a method of social change.
